Medical Facility Being Added to Warren Achievement’s New Community Day Services Location

Progress continues on the construction of the former Monmouth VFW location as it is being transformed into Warren Achievement Center’s Community Day Services building. Marketing Coordinator Sean Cavanaugh informs a medical facility will also be added to the site:

“The former VFW, which is our future Community Day Services location, we are still doing work on the inside there. It is going to look fantastic. We will be doing extensive fundraising. We have raised a lot so far, but the building needs complete renovation. We are adding on about 4,800 square feet for those who are most dependent on care, it is practically a medical facility that we are adding onto it. We will have nurses offices there, examination rooms, and several other support rooms there. They will be in the new section, if you will, but our maintenance has done such a phenomenal job. They have several classrooms framed in and several offices. We hired a contractor that did some of the work and electricians. It is quite the transformation and we are really looking forward to it.”

Meanwhile, Carrie Novak is being promoted to be the Community Day Services Administrator as Sue Blackman will be retiring at the end of May.
