Monmouth Fire Gaining Skills in an Everchanging World

Share

Members of the Monmouth Fire Department attended an active threat training held at the fire station in Roseville. Chief Casey Rexroat shares the focus of the training:

“Our biggest part is going to be the response to the event. The schools have also been working on their planning and things like that for after the event is over, but as far as our response, we will respond and help as a rescue task force and go in with police officers if necessary to start triaging people and teating people immediately.”

Additionally, the Monmouth Fire Department held a Leadership Principle Fire Service class for the entire department to attend, to have the firefighters learn the principles of what leadership should be and to promote them to become leaders within the department.
