NCAA Men’s Final Four Set

The NCAA men’s basketball Final Four stage is set.  An improbable entrant will battle for a spot in the championship game after number 11 NC State knocked off fourth-seeded Duke 76-64 in the Elite Eight.  The Wolfpack will represent the South region and square off against Midwest winners Purdue in the next round.  The top-seeded Boilermakers took down number two Tennessee 72-66 to make their first Final Four appearance since 1980.

Meanwhile, top-overall seed UConn made easy work of number three Illinois 77-52 to advance.  The defending champions representing the East will battle number four Alabama out of the West.  The Crimson Tide edged sixth-seeded Clemson 89-82 to claim their spot in the school’s first-ever Final Four.  Both matchups tip off on Saturday.
