(Rushville, IL) — Federal investigators say it looks like the school bus that crashed in west-central Illinois last month crossed the center line. The NTSB yesterday released its preliminary report into the crash in Rushville that killed three kids and two adults. Investigators say it appears that the bus went across the center line while driving around a curve, and drove into the path of an on-coming semi-truck. The truck hit the bus, and they both caught on fire. Three kids and the drivers of both the bus and the truck died in the crash and fire. The NTSB is not saying when its final report will come out.
