Each year the second week of April is known as National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, recognizing the personnel who play a crucial role in emergency response, shares Warren County 911 Coordinator Ken Helms:
“We have a dispatch center in Monmouth that the City staffs and we do a number of different agencies as far as dispatching of the services there. It is National Telecommunicator Week. This is a week that we recognize everything that they do and show our appreciation. Right now we have seven full time and three part time.”
