A new athletic facility could be in the future for the West Central School District as the Board of Education is in the early stages of considering the project, reports Superintendent Stacey Day:

“Like every school district, gym space is just at a super high need and there is never enough space for anything. One of the ideas was to look at if we need some kind of atheltic facility that would add gym space, add space for our personal fitness, physical education classes to be able to use, all those kinds of things. Just very beginning stages to see kind of where we are. We have lots of projects going on and in the works and so we will just add that one to our list of things to talk about.”

Meanwhile, the Middle School play will be held May 2nd, 3rd, and 4th at 7 pm each night at the Raritan Opera House, presenting the ‘Secret Case of Sherlock Holmes.’
