Knox County Courthouse Closed After Gas Leak

Late this morning a gas line was struck at the Knox County Courthouse causing a gas leak.  The building was evacuated without incident.  Knox County Sheriff Jack Harlan has closed the Courthouse for the remainder of the business day in order to secure the safety of the workers and the public.  The Courthouse will reopen on Monday, June 3, 2024 at 8:30AM.  If you have a court hearing today, you will be notified of when it is rescheduled.
