Mary Alice (Posey) Waller, 65, of Swan Creek, Illinois, passed away at 3:29 a.m., Wednesday, May 22, 2024. She was born September 3, 1958 in Cordele, Georgia, the daughter of Edison and Margaret (McFadden) Posey. She was raised and educated in Vermont, Illinois, graduating from VIT High School.

She married Lyle Waller on January 3, 1976 in the Vermont Christian Church and he survives.

Those left to cherish her memory are; husband, Lyle Waller of Swan Creek; children, John (Teresa) Waller of Roseville, Sarah (Shannon) Wisslead of Andover, Illinois; grandchildren, Kailey, Andrue and Landon; siblings, Connie Barr, Bonnie Saville, Perry Posey, Barry Posey, Marie Gaither. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mary worked for Carlberg Printing in Roseville for over 30 years until her retirement.

Her greatest joy was her family. She always put them first and foremost. She loved to shop in thrift stores. She liked to cook and enjoyed playing candy crush on her tablet. She also loved her dogs Brownie and CJ. She also loved watching true crime television and all kinds of puzzles.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 24, 2024. A time of visitation will be held for one hour prior to the services at the Roseville Township Cemetery. Interment will be in the Roseville Township Cemetery. Moore Memorial Home, Roseville, is handling the arrangements.
