Monmouth City Council Approves 3-Year Contract Renewal with Local 1702

Share

Monmouth City Council has reached a tentative three-year Collective Bargaining Agreement with the Monmouth Firefighter’s Local 1702, reports City Administrator Lew Steinbrecher:

“It does call for annual salary increases and then there are some concessions in there in terms of health insurance, having the employees contribute a little bit more to the monthly premiums. Also, putting a ceiling on the amount of money that the City will put into the individual health savings accounts and then a limit on the amount of the annual deductible on these insurance plans.”

Steinbrecher informs the renewal of the contract was unanimously approved by City Council.
