New officers have recently joined the Monmouth Police Department, reports Chief Joe Switzer:

“Zack Dean is on as a Police Officer now. He has been working for quite a while and is out on his own, occupying a spot on the schedule. Gara Nichols just graduated from the police academy and is in the FTO Program. I sent two new officers to the academy last week, Eli Gauldemaz Santos and Griselda Ricco. Those two will fit in well without police department. They are local people and are bilingual, which is always a plus. They have another 15 weeks of the academy to go through and we will see them in August and get them into the FTO Program and trained up here.”

With potential retirements in the near future from the Monmouth Police Department, Chief Switzer informs one person is on their current list.
