Henderson County Board Recognized for Commitment to Agriculture

Share

During the June Henderson County Board meeting on Tuesday, Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau President Jake Armstrong presented a plaque in appreciation of the board’s commitment to agriculture. This comes following the board’s passage of a resolution supporting agriculture and the agricultural industry in Henderson County during the May meeting.

“I was just here presenting them with a plaque, just honoring them with that decision, and just have something on the wall that they can look at that reminds them that they are in support of the agricultural industry,” says Armstrong. “It’s also just a networking tool that we can meet the county board, introduce ourselves, be an asset for them, help them through issues that may come up with the agriculture industry or private property rights.”

Armstrong adds that the passage of this resolution in Henderson County is just the beginning of a partnership between the Warren- Henderson Farm Burau and the Henderson County Board.
