The Monmouth-Roseville Board of Education has named a new High School Principal and Assistant High School Principal, reports Superintendent Ed Fletcher:

“We hired a new High School Principal, it is Eric Matthews, coming to us from Galesburg. Long-time Athletic Director and he was in the Monmouth-Roseville district way back in 2005-2006, then spent some time in Farmington as an Athletic Director and most recently some time in Galesburg as their Athletic Director, so we are excited to have him on board as our High School Principal. Nate Johnson is the Assistant. They will work well together. Having Nate on board with the understanding of the current climate of the building, rules, regulations, so on and so forth, and someone coming in from the outside with a different eye and different view of things.”

Eric Matthews will begin his duties as Monmouth-Roseville High School Principal in mid-July.
