Wanted Man Arrested by Burlington Police

On May 31, 2024 at approximately 1:32 P.M., Officers with the Burlington Police Department, Southeast Iowa Narcotics Task Force and Des Moines County Sheriff’s Officer had information that Dillon Rasch was in the area of 5th and Vines St. Rasch was wanted on multiple Des Moines County warrants for Parole Violation, Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Assault while Displaying a Dangerous Weapon, and Reckless Use of a Firearm.

While in the area conducting surveillance Rasch was observed in a blue truck by officers. A traffic stop was initiated and Rasch failed to stop for officers. Rasch lead officers on a pursuit across the Great River Bridge and ended in Gulf Port, Illinois, with Rasch being involved in a single vehicle accident. Rasch was transported to Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center for the injuries he sustained in the accident.

Rasch was later transported to Des Moines County Jail. He was charged with the Des Moines County warrants, as well as, Felony Eluding, Driving While Barred. Additional charges are pending. Iowa officers were assisted by the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
