The Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau recently awarded the 2024 Ag Service Award to Merlin and Edith Ray of Henderson County. The award was presented in June during the Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau trivia fundraiser shares manager Ashlyn Quinn.

“They have been continuous Farm Bureau members for almost 60 years now. So way back when we were just Warren and Henderson County, they were serving in Henderson County, doing different things with ACTIVATOR, the milk caps, and things through the foundation,” says Quinn. ” Then have continued to be members through the consolidation.”

Edith and Merlin Ray have been active in the community with their involvement with the Maple City Antique Tractor Association and youth organizations such as 4-H and FFA. The two retired from farming in 2019.
