Healogics Clinic in Monmouth Celebrating 2 years

Share

The wound care center in Monmouth is celebrating 2 years in Monmouth this month. Angela Grady, clinical nurse manager at the Healogics Wound Clinic at OSF Holy Family Medical Center in Monmouth says they recently received awards:

“The Robert A Werner award for clinical excellence and the Center of Distinction award through Healogics. These awards are based on our healing rate which is over 96% our days to heal which are under 21 days and our patient satisfaction which is also over 96%. So, our healing rates speaks to every single patient that comes through that door some of those patients we understand will never heal but we are taking care of them the best we can to give them good quality of life. So, when you factor all of that in it really speaks to the clinical quality and the care that our providers in our nurses are giving these patients.”

The center treats wounds such as abscesses, arterial, diabetic and veinous ulcers, non-healing surgical wounds and burns. The center is located at 1000 West Harlem in Monmouth.
