Janice M. Bundy, 82, of Oquawka, IL, passed away at 11:10 a.m., Monday, July 8, 2024 at her home.

She was born on March 2, 1942 in Oquawka, IL, the daughter of Lloyd and Velma (Simmons) Meyer.  Janice was raised and educated in Oquawka and graduated from G & O High School in 1960. 

Janice married Charlie Bundy on July 17, 1962 in Stronghurst, IL, and he survives. 

Janice was a homemaker and she loved taking care of her family. 

Surviving Janice is her husband, Charlie Bundy of Oquawka, IL; her children, Lori Willits of Gladstone, IL, Donna (Roger) Harmsen of New London, MO, Doyle Bundy of Denver, CO; her grandchildren, Victor Hastings, Chuck (Lora) Newton, Mike (Hollie) Neal, Lacy (Mike) Kindhart, Haley Willits, Katie (Tim) Wilson; ten great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; her brothers, Kent Meyer, Keith Meyer, Wayne Meyer, Dean (Laura) Meyer, Mike Meyer, all of Oquawka, IL; one sister, Peggy Tharp of Biggsville, IL; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step daughter, Marsha Kidd; grandson, Jim Neal; and great grandson, Tyler Neal. 

Graveside Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 12, 2024, at Oquawka Cemetery, Oquawka, IL.  No visitation hours are planned.  Memorials can be made to Janice Bundy Memorial Fund and can be sent to the funeral home.  McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL, is in charge of the arrangements.
