Western Illinois University will launch a Master of Science in Engineering Technology program, featuring a Precision Agriculture emphasis beginning Fall 2024. This 30-semester-hour program is designed to prepare professionals with advanced knowledge and leadership skills in agricultural technology.

Students can complete internships with companies that offer expertise and leadership roles, available during any academic term.
Applicants need a bachelor’s degree in an Engineering-related or Agriculture program with at least 15 hours of technical courses. Students with fewer technical hours can enroll in a two-phase program to meet requirements.
Completion of a minimum of 30 semester hours, including core courses and directed electives, plus one of three exit options: thesis plan, professional internship plan or independent research plan.
