The new Science and Technology Center on the Carl Sandburg College campus in Galesburg is complete and open for the fall semester classes. With more plans to continue upgrading the campus, Athletic Director and Dean of Student Engagement Daniella Irle says a healthy campus is one under construction:

“There is a vibrancy on our campus. We have a new S&T Building, Science and Technology Building. Students are in there and we are renovating B Building. I have always said in all my years in higher education, you show me a healthy campus, I will show you a campus with construction. It is exciting. We have this new gorgeous building going up. We are renovating the building right next to it and there are plans now for the next phase of the strategic plan, which would be more new construction.”

The Science and Technology Center houses math and natural sciences, health professions, information and communications technology, criminal justice, and the dental hygiene programs.
