Burlington Man Charged With Shooting Father Over Stinky Feet Argument

A Burlington man faces charges accusing him of shooting his father.  Authorities say David Carpenter admitted to police that he shot his father over an argument about stinky feet.  The incident happened this past Sunday in a Burlington home in the two-thousand block of Monarch Drive.  The father was sent to the hospital with what appears to be non-life-threatening injuries.  Carpenter faces charges of Attempted Murder and Child Endangerment.
