Is Your Credit Account Being Monitored?

Share

In today’s world, more and more transactions are being completed with credit and debit cards, which also creates the opportunity for identity theft. However, Monmouth Police Department Investigator Josh Kramer says the credit companies have really stepped up their game in monitoring accounts:

“The credit card companies have really stepped up their game and the local banks in providing free credit protection, where you sign up for their credit card with their services and you get it as part of the package deal. They will monitor your credit. If you go to open a new account, you get alerted. They are pretty instant and they are really good.”

Along with monitoring your account activity, Investigator Kramer informs they will also provide credit checks.
