The 4th Annual Monmouth Area Vocational Scholarship Music Trivia Night will be held Saturday, August 17th at the Monmouth American Legion with dinner beginning at 5 pm and trivia at 6:30 pm. Melissa Johnston has more details:

“The vocational scholarship is just what it sounds. We provide scholarships to students going into trade schools. This effects the Monmouth area, so that includes Monmouth-Roseville, United, and West Central High School students. We are having a music trivia event on August 17th with J & J Entertainment. People can register their teams up to ten people. Mulligans and doublers are included. You can register either by text at 309-536-0278 or by email at mavscholarship@gmail.com.”

During last year’s fundraising event, $9,000 was raised to then offer nine scholarships to local students attending trade schools.
