Monmouth Athlete Headed to Italy for Special Olympics World Games

Local Monmouth Special Olympics athlete, Mike Barry, has been chosen to compete in the Special Olympics World Games. Barry will be participating in the alpine skiing event in the mountains of Turine, Italy in mid-March of 2025. Region F Director of Special Olympics Illinois Cathy Betar had this to say about Mike and his opportunity to compete on the world stage.
