Monmouth-Roseville High School Adding Distance Learning Classrooms

Share

With the final days of summer winding down, ongoing projects and renovations in the Monmouth-Roseville School District are nearing completion. One project occurring at the high school is the transformation of some classrooms for distance learning, explains Principal Eric Matthews:

“We put in some distance learning classrooms. It is one of those things, that there is a teacher shortage out there that we may or may not experience at some time, but this will give us the opportunity if we need to reach out and use other schools, we can log into them and use their teachers through the internet and through media, so this will give us the opportunity. The classrooms will be ready to go and we will be able to use them as needed so that we can log in to other areas throughout the state, out of state, wherever, so we can use other resources instead of what we just have here.”

Additional renovations at the Monmouth-Roseville High School are bathroom remodels and widening the sidewalks.
