Planned Construction Areas for Aug 19th – 23rd

Share

  • Underground work on the North Leg of the project. This will be near the intersection of N. Main St. and Archer Ave. Lane closures will take place.
  • Please avoid using the NE quadrant as major construction is taking place.
  • Business foot traffic is open in the NE quadrant, please stay within the marked access areas along the front of the businesses.
  • NE Quadrant Businesses- Porter Brothers will start forming your ADA ramps this week. They will set forms and allow access to your business up until they are ready to pour concrete. I will be emailing/contacting you when I have solid pour dates. If there is caution tape and barricades, please do not step on the concrete as it is curing. If the barricades and tape are removed, you are more than welcome to use the sidewalk. Front door access will be closed 1-2 days. If you need other arrangements, please let me know and I can see what Porter Brothers can come up with.
  • Various electrical lines and poles are scheduled to be removed from around the square.
  • The water bill drop box is temporarily closed during construction. Bills can be dropped off at City Hall or the Public Safety Building.
  • Landscaping will be taking place at the parking lot project.  The parking lot project should be completed within the next couple of weeks.
  • Please use extreme caution as several operations will be taking place on the project this week.
  • Thank you for your patience and understanding as work continues.
