Bigger Meat Co. Opens Just in Time for Deer Season Kickoff

Deer season is just around the corner in Illinois. Starting October 1st, hunters will set out for the deer season. In an effort to expand deer processing availability in Illinois, Bigger Bucks Outfitters is expanding to include Bigger Meat Company. Located on Highway 34 east of Biggsville, owner Travis Bigger says the locker will be up and running on October 1st.

“For now, we’re going to be deer processing only. It’s going to be open to the public- anybody can bring their deer into us to get done. Our grand opening will be September 28 so we will be up and rolling here in the next couple weeks, we will be ready for deer season to open,” says Bigger. “Then after that, we’re going to get inspected, and all that good stuff, to where we can do beef, pork, lamb, all that kind of stuff.”

The Bigger Meat Co. grand opening is taking place Saturday, September 28th from 10 am to 4 pm at the new locker location just east of Biggsville.
