New footings and foundation have been completed for the new Beck’s Oil Company convenience store location outside of Monmouth with infrastructure to begin soon, reports Mayor Rod Davies:

“They are expanding their operation. They did not have any semi fueling stations or semi parking, which they are building and constructing now. They acquired some land to the north of their existing facility and that is where the truck operation will be. Then we will have the convenience store in its’ original location, with that being the auto fuel stops and islands and so forth. It is quite an investment.”

Construction at the new Jimmy John’s location is underway as well, with the underground utility work in progress and constructing of the building to start soon.
