The Monmouth-Roseville Jr High football team hosted Sherrard Tuesday night at Sunny Lane Field. The first quarter had the Titan offense struggling until Keshawn Crawford broke off a 20 yard run followed by Andrew Snyders 25 yard run. Liam Parker punched it in for the TD and Keshawn Crawford added the 2 point conversion. Near the end of the 1st half, the Titans had their back to their own end zone when Andrew Snyder intercepted the ball and returned it for a 100 yard touchdown with Keshawn again adding the 2 point conversion. The second half saw the Titan O-line of Grady Jones, Tim Bresnahan, Ty Sarcomo, Cole Schoene, Diego Gutierrez, Hunter Conchas, and Henrik Bergrin continue to open up big holes for the Titan’s offense. The Tigers were driving trying to make it a one score game when Henrik Bergren came off the edge for a huge 4th down stop. Andrew Snyder capped off the scoring with a 70 yard TD run followed on the next defensive series by a Tim Bresnahan sack that set up the final stop. Keshawn Crawford iced the game with an interception. Final score 28-12 Titans. The Titans are 2-1 on the season. They play next Tuesday at Rockridge.
