September is National Recovery Month for Substance Use and Suicide Prevention Month, shares Eagle View Community Health System Marketing Director Sabrina Wilson:
“With us having a substance use program and mental health program and with mental health in our area being huge anyway in trying to stop the stigma and talk about it. I got all of this information from the American Foundation for Suicide prevention, and suicide is the 11th leading cause of death in the United States. There is a national three-digit number that people can call, which is 988. You can call that if you need services immediately.”
