In the midst of a grant cycle, which will close on November 11th, local Compeer Financial Officer Brian Postin explains how to apply for their ‘Giving Tuesday’ grants:

“Compeer Financial, we take a lot of pride in giving back to our communities. We have different grant programs that we run throughout the year. One that is going on currently is kind of a ‘Giving Tuesday’ grant and we are taking applications online for three different $2,500 donations that can be for FFA chapters, 4-H clubs, county fairs, food pantries, those kind of community activities that involve a large number of people that have an ag tie to it. If you go to compeer.com and scroll down on the bottom right, there is basically a tab for grants. That is actually a good spot to go because it has spots that outlines our other grant programs.”

Looking ahead into next year, in March Compeer Financial will open their County Fair Facility grants, in April the Ag in the Classroom grant cycle will begin, and in August the Emergency Response Equipment
grant sign-ups will open.
