Criminal Justice Career Fair Oct. 16 at Sandburg

A criminal justice career fair will take place from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Oct. 16 in the building D lobby on Sandburg’s Galesburg campus.

Hosted by the Sandburg Criminal Justice Club, this third annual event is an opportunity for those who may be interested in applying for a career in the criminal justice field to meet with prospective employers from the area. Job opportunities range from field work to corrections to telecommunications.

Agencies and organizations anticipated to attend the event include:

  • Adams County Sheriff’s Office
  • Galesburg Police Department (patrol and dispatch)
  • Henry County Sheriff’s Office
  • Illinois Department of Children and Family Services
  • Illinois Department of Corrections
  • Illinois State Police
  • Monmouth Police Department
  • Rock Island Police Department
