On Friday, November 8th, the Regional Office of Education #33 is hosting a Community Action Poverty Simulation from 8:30 to 11:30 am. Director of ROE Services Kathryn Jennings shares what community members will learn attending this event:

“It gives the opportunity to walk a month with someone living in poverty. Really the goal of that is to determine areas where we can promote change to positively impact those people that are dealing with poverty every day.”

Additionally, the ROE is seeking volunteers for their Adult Education program to work with individuals seeking their high school equivalency diploma and with the English Language Learners.
