The first week of November is the anticipated time frame Jamieson Community Center will begin moving their thrift store and food pantry to their new location at 1120 South Main Street, informs Executive Director Nancy Mowen:

“It is going to take us some time to move that entire Marketplace over there, so we will have some different hours at that time. People can keep in the loop on our Facebook page. In that new building, we will have our Thrift Store, we will have an expanded Food Pantry, again huge thanks to the Pattee Foundation, and we are going to add something new in that new building. With generous funding from Hunger Collaborative, the United Way of Greater Warren County, and the Health Foundation of Warren and Henderson Counties, we are going to be able to add a Resource Coordinator.”

Jamieson Community Center’s Resource Coordinator will assist families and individuals in setting goals, assess and provide resources to enhance life-skills, and connect them with local resources and services.
