Mon-Rose Soccer Searching for First Regional Title Since 2018

Monmouth-Roseville boys soccer goal keeper Isaac Garcia scored the game-winning goal and recorded the shutout as the Titans won their class 1A regional semi-final 1-0 Saturday afternoon at Pattee Fields. Garcia scored a penalty kick late in the game. Here’s Monmouth-Roseville High School AD Jeremy Adolphson with more details.

So next up for M-R is the regional final at 6 p.m. Wednesday against Beardstown. The Titans, now 13-7-4 on the year, will face off with the (15-4) Tigers. The two teams met on September 16th in Beardstown, with the hosts getting a 7-0 win over an injury-ridled Titan roster.
