Monmouth Police Chief Joe Switzer shares the monthly report for the department from September:

“In September we made 74 arrests, we issued 112 citations, calls coming into the dispatch center were 3,811 calls coming in. The Monmouth Police Department itself handled 1,224 calls. The dispatch center, in total, handled 2,493 calls with all the various agencies within the county. Officers handled 23 accidents and worked 58 grant hours. It kind of ebbs and flows every once in a while, but that is about average. Although, I think we are trending up in the number of calls coming in and the calls we are handling.”

Chief Switzer informs the increase of calls is not related to any specific type of call, just overall more calls coming into the Warren County Dispatch Center.
