Another Warren County YMCA Waterbugs swim season is underway for local youth ages five to eighteen. With their first meet right around the corner, Head Coach Ashlyn Quinn is ready to start competitions after a successful season last year:

“We had a good season throughout, placing pretty high at some meets, and then starting at Districts our eight and under girls got a Third-Place banner, which is pretty impressive at Districts because we are considered a small team and at our district meet, we do not split up our small and large teams when we place people. So, they were going against teams that could have had 100 to 150 kids on them and still paced that high, so I was very proud of them. Then we turned around two weeks later and went to our State Championship meet and brought home another seven banners.”

The Warren County YMCA Waterbugs will have their first swim meet on October 5th.
