The Warren County YMCA’s Camp Meskwaki campus is nearly complete, shares Membership and Youth Development Director Emily Brooks:
“Across the street from the pool and the Y is the Camp Meskwaki campus. We purchased a new building, and it is completely renovated inside. So, we are going to be able to have our After School and Camp programs there and then future programs that we develop for that age group as the future goes on. We just are waiting on a couple more things and we are hoping to get the kids in there real soon. It will be nice to have our own little area for the kids because we are starting to outgrow the Y, where we are upstairs. It is going to be nice for our members and community to just know the kids have their own space to come and play and just be their own people.”
Upcoming School’s Out Day Camps at the Warren County YMCA are Friday, October 25th, November 5th, and November 11th.
