It is National Principal Appreciation Week and West Central Superintendent Stacey Day shares the principals leading the buildings throughout the district:

“We have a great group of administrators at the high school, Jason Kirby is our Principal and Joel Zaiser is the Assistant and the Athletic Director. At our Middle School, I have two new administrators there, Brittney Kugler is the Principal, she came to us from Macomb this year, and Byron Helt, who was a science teacher for us, and we moved him into an Assistant Principal position there. At the elementary is Kathy Lafary as Principal and we have a new Assistant Principal, Bryan Taylor.”

The West Central School District has begun their second quarter of the school year and will have parent-teacher conferences this Thursday and Friday.
