Each November, National Diabetes Month is observed, a time to raise awareness and education about diabetes. Eagle View Community Health Worker and Marketing Director Sabrina Wilson encourages everyone to schedule those A1C checks:

“We want to make sure people are getting their A1C checked, they are checking in with their primary care providers. Even if you are just curious because you have never had it done before, it is very simple, very easy, and we can do it right there in the clinic.”

According to a 2021 National Diabetes Statistics report from the CDC, 38.4 million people in the United States have diabetes.
