The Greater Peoria Farm Show, Illinois largest indoor farm show, is back for its 41st year at the Peoria Civic Center this today through Thursday (December 3-5). Kevin Brooks, University of Illinois Extension Commercial Ag Educator, shares Extension will have a large presence at the show, starting with a booth on the farm show floor.
“With demonstrations from drones and robotics to environmental issues involving agriculture as well as the usual things that we do, which has to do with leasing and estate planning, just really excited about what we have going on,” says Brooks. “But in addition to that, we will have the main hallway to do presentations, and we have a full lineup of speakers coming from Extension, but also campus specialists to do programming which includes grain marketing, farm income expectations, and managing farm financial risk in 2025.”
Other presentation topics include home horticulture, farming with disabilities, farm succession planning, and more.
