Midwestern Pet Foods’ Expansion Opens Door for New Opportunities

Midwestern Pet Foods is currently undergoing an expansion project which would increase its capacity at the Monmouth location. Plant Manager Stweart Riske shares this will also add more oppertunites to the plant.

“We have a nice expansion going on, we are adding a new extruder, and other things that will be going on in the facility to upgrade it and support that capacity,” says Riske. “So we are excited.”

With the expansion of equiptment also comes an expansion of employment oppertuities, says Office Manager and HR Director Dana Sammons.

“Feel free to come down to Midwestern Pet Foods, fill out an application. The first of the year we are going to get as many people in as we can,” says Sammons.

Midwest Pet Foods is a family-owned and operated business with other locations in New York, Oklahoma, and Evansville.
