Monmouth-Roseville Titan Boys Basketball has Run Winning Streak to Five Games

Share

The Monmouth-Roseville Titan boys basketball team was sitting at (2-4) after a late-game falter at Riverdale two weeks ago. Since that night, the Titans have ran off five straight wins, starting with a 44 point shellacking of Knoxville, a mere 3 days after the loss to the Rams. Included in the streak, was a comeback on the road at Mercer County, avenging a loss to the Golden Eagles in the Orion Thanksgiving Tip-Off Classic Tournament. The Titans also got some revenge from their other loss at the tournament, with a 14 point win over A-Town. Most recently, Monmouth-Roseville blew out Farmington on the road 46-30 on Tuesday night. The Titans have an interesting pair of games before resting until after the Christmas Holiday. They will host (8-2) Orion tonight at Monmouth-Roseville High School for a TRAC West Division match up and then take on a local rival, United High School at the Great Western Shootout in Abingdon on Saturday night. Monmouth-Roseville Titan head coach says that the streak his ballclub is on is great, but they need to sustain the momentum into the Macomb/Western Holiday Tournament starting on the 26th.
