Coming off a nice win over Canton Tuesday night, the (4-4) Monmouth-Roseville Titan Boys’ Basketball team get back on the court tonight, traveling to the home of the Mercer County Golden Eagles for a Three River Conference West Division match up. The Titans will look to even up with the Golden Eagles as they saw them for their second game of the season, falling by a score of 58-43. Ready to take the floor for their ninth game of the season, the Titans defense and offense are getting better each game, says Head Coach Chuck Grant:

“There are times we have looked pretty good defensively, but there are still a lot of things we have to clean up. We have worked on that, we only practiced just last night this week, and we worked on a few things, but that is still going to be a process that we have to clean up. Offensively we are coming around a little bit; some of that is because of our defense, some is because the guys are starting to hit some open shots and get some confidence. Hopefully all of that continues to come together and if so, we will end up being a pretty competitive basketball team.”

The Titans matchup with the Mercer County Golden Eagles boys’ basketball ballclub tonight will be broadcast on the Prairie Communications Sports Network on Sunny 97.7 WMOI with the pregame show starting around 6:40 pm, ahead of a 7:00 tip-off.
