Over the course of several Board of Education meetings for Monmouth-Roseville, discussions on adding a School Resource Officer have been held, which now turns to the taxpayers, explains Superintendent Ed Fletcher:

“One of the things that has changed and ties into the Warren County Facilities Tax, in 2019 the use for the facilities tax funds expanded to allow districts to use those funds for School Resource Officers and Mental Health Professionals for Warren County. Since that was approved for us back in 2011, we have to go back to the taxpayers to ask them if they would allow us to use those facilities tax funds for an expanded use to add School Resource Officers and Mental Health Professionals. The Board approved putting that on the ballot in April. We will allow the people in Warren County to decide if they feel that is an appropriate use of the funds.”

The Consolidated Election is April 1, 2025.
