Every summer 144 golfers descend upon the Monmouth Country Club for the annual Matt Repp Memorial Golf Outing to raise money for local scholarships for students attending United. This is the 11th year of the outing and founder, and organizer Kris Repp says they have raised more than $30,000 over the years:
“So far, we have given away over $33,000 to United students for scholarships. We give away four every year, $750 each, and we also have what we call our honorary winners and have given away over $17,000 to 23 deserving students there.”
Next year, the event will be held on August 9th.
