Sandra L. Fullerton Moody, age 85, of Oquawka, Illinois, passed away at 12:55 PM on December 22, 2024 at her residence in Oquawka. She was born October 6, 1939 in Monmouth, Illinois, the daughter of Clarence and Helen (Sterett) Vaughan. Sandra graduated from G&O High School in 1957 and later attended Western Illinois University. Sandra was married to Lawrence Fullerton who preceded her in death on December 23, 1998. She later married William Moody, Jr. and he preceded her in death on October 19, 2024.

Sandra worked for 38 years as a secretary at CNH Industrial in Burlington, Iowa. She also worked at Weight Watchers as a receptionist and substitute leader. Sandra proudly served the Village of Oquawka as the Board President. She enjoyed painting, trapshooting, her cats and dogs, gardening, and playing piano. She loved looking at and enjoying the Mississippi River.

Sandra is survived by her three granddaughters, Cassandra (Lee) Ryder of Chicago, Illinois, Madeleine Snyder of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Shannon (Nate) Vogt of Charlotte, North Carolina. She is also survived by her niece Rachel Dehner, nephews Michael Dehner and Alex Reed, and many other relatives. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, her daughter Kelly Fullerton Snyder, and her sister Carolyn Dehner.
