Dillan Vancil, an entrepreneur and family man, is officially launching his campaign for Congress in Illinois’ 17th District. The launch event will take place on Sunday, February 2nd, beginning with a social hour at 5:00 PM, followed by dinner at 6:00 PM.
Born in Monmouth, Illinois, Dillan Vancil’s journey embodies the resilience and determination of rural America. Growing up in a single-parent household that relied on food stamps and Medicaid, Dillan learned the value of hard work early on, mowing lawns and shoveling snow to help his family make ends meet. His upbringing fueled a desire to create a better future, not just for his own family but his community as well.
After graduating from West Central School District and attending Western Illinois University, Dillan worked his way up in the railroad industry to become the State Legislative Director for SMART-TD Union. In 2020, Dillan and his wife, Alyssa, turned their entrepreneurial dream into reality by launching Dame Fine Coffee, a business that has grown from a trailer to six locations, employing over 50 people.
