Kathi M. Carr, age 72, of Galesburg, Illinois; passed away at her residence at 10:00 am on Sunday January 26, 2025. Kathy was born on November 26, 1952 in Aurora, Illinois and is the daughter of Richard and June Martin Williams. She attended schools in Aurora and graduated from East Aurora High School in the class of 1970. After school Kathi was previously married to Guy Miller. Kathi was employed in banking in Montgomery, Illinois for a number of years and positions. She loved antiques and going antiquing. She also liked going to thrift shops and making crafts. She also liked traveling and often went to Colorado, Arizona, and Wisconsin. She most loved her friends, family and her cats.

Surviving her is her gift in life, daughter Heidi Podrovitz and Tom who live in Abingdon, Illinois and her aunt, Georgia Jacques in Arizona. She is preceded in her death by her parents, sister Barbara and brother Dick. 
Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth is in charge of her care and cremation rites are being accorded. Celebration of her life is planned at a later date by her family. To leave your remembrance or for more information please visit www.turnbullfuneralhomes.com
