Monmouth-Roseville Superintendent Ed Fletcher has met with Mayor Rod Davies, City Administrator Lew Steinbrecher, and Police Chief Joe Switzer on what it would look like if the district added a School Resource Officer:

“The feel from the Board if that if the referendum in April passes, we would add a School Resource Officer for the 2025-2026 school year. If the referendum does not pass, I am not certain that we would want to take on that financial burden of having an SRO, so we are hoping that referendum passes.”

Due to a change in the use of Facilities Tax Funds for the Monmouth-Roseville School District, the referendum for the addition of a School Resource Officer will appear on the April 1st ballot.
