School improvements seem to always be on the minds of school districts and the United Board of Education is no different. ENGIE Services spoke with United Board Members on assessments of facilities and grounds, which Superintendent Tom Hawkins said a large portion focused on the South Campus:
“The big thing is that we have a building at the South Campus that is older and moving forward, we would like to update and remodel the inside. We want to make some additions, possibly building an auditorium space. There are some needs, there are some wishes, and some wants, but a company like this ENGIE Services would be able to come in and tell us what that would look like as far as a dollar amount.”
The construction of an auditorium on the United Junior/Senior High School campus has been discussed several times before and comes down to cost.
