Illinois community colleges may soon offer bachelor’s degrees. Governor JB Pritzker announced the proposal during yesterday’s State of the State address. He said the bachelor’s program would make it easier and more affordable for students, particularly working adults, to advance their careers. With 45 community colleges, Illinois boasts the third-largest community college system in the country.
